Product Review: Pamela’s Gluten-Free Baking & Pancake Mix

PRODUCT REVIEW: Pancakes made with this mix–which happens to be one of the best gluten free pancake mixes–have a pleasing, slightly nutty, not-too-sweet flavor with savory notes. With a smooth texture with flecks of brown from the almond flour, this mix is also fantastic for making waffles, which brown nicely and come out crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, just the way a great waffle should be!

INGREDIENTS: Brown rice flour, white rice flour, cultured buttermilk, almond meal (may appear as brown flecks), tapioca starch, sweet rice flour, potato starch, grainless & aluminum-free baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, potato starch, sodium bicarbonate), baking soda, sea salt, xanthan gum.


CONTAINS STATEMENT: Buttermilk, Almonds. Produced on equipment that also makes products containing tree nuts, soy, eggs, and milk.

OTHER HELPFUL INFO: To prepare this mix, you will need an egg, oil and water; kosher, non-GMO, no added sugar.
