We love this brand’s hippie-chic chocolate bars, so we had to check out their new grain-free sea salt crackers. While the packaging looks kinda homespun, which is strange for a high-end brand (the price is somewhat steep for the 4.25 ounce box). But it does stand out on the shelf and made us pick it up, so it’s clearly doing something right!
Anyway, with no gluten, sunflower oil, lecithins or gums, seed or vegetable oils, tapioca, dairy, soy, maltodextrin, or refined starches, it’s pretty welcoming to most people with food allergies. But what IS in it? Grain-free flour (a blend of almond, cassava and organic coconut flours), chia seed, flaxseed, organic coconut aminos, and some seasonings (complete ingredient list below). Plus, they’re non-GMO, paleo, and vegan.
Most importantly, the gluten-free crackers are cute, sturdy little squares that have a pleasing, mildly tangy taste and a rosemary finish. They’re a solid choice for snacking or a cheese plate. In other words, thumbs up for these totally health-minded, crisp, crunchy Wheat Thin-looking crackers!
