Product Review: Against the Grain Gourmet Gluten Free Baguette

It’s hard to find a gluten free baguette. Fortunately, this one tends to be widely distributed and found in the frozen gluten-free foods sections of stores like Whole Foods. We usually keep a pack in the freezer, so we can pull it out, warm it up, and slice it for cheese trays or one of our favorite appetizers, olive-oil poached tomatoes and garlic with gluten free baguette. (It’s also a great base for garlic bread.) Whatever you do, you’ll want to warm and/or toast it before eating it for the best flavor and texture. Along with a crusty crust, expect a light, airy center, with just a few more air pockets than we’d like. If you’re dairy-free, be warned: there’s cheese in the dough.
