PRODUCT REVIEW: An uber-crunchy nugget is filled with just enough of a dab of creamy, salty peanut butter to be reminiscent of peanut butter on toast, or peanut butter crackers. These bite-sized morsels are a deep brown, toasted color and sprinkled generously with coarse salt. Our tasters really enjoyed the contrast in textures between the nugget and the filling. The pretzel itself is hard and crusty and has a deep, whole grain flavor and hint of molasses. The smooth, soft peanut butter does not overpower; this treat still tastes like a pretzel, albeit a deliciously addicting one with a luscious surprise in the middle.
