Rooibos tea is deliciously nutty in flavor, antioxidant-rich, and naturally caffeine-free. Paired with peaches and orange juice, it becomes an ultralight yet satisfying and super-refreshing frozen dessert. To make this one of the best tasting frozen popsicle recipes, use fresh peaches.
Rooibos-Peach Pops Gluten-Free Recipe
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 rooibos tea bags
- 4 cups peeled and sliced ripe, fresh peaches (from about 2 pounds peaches) or thawed frozen peach slices
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup
- Juice from 1 lime
In a mug, pour the water over the tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes, then lift out the tea bags and squeeze the liquid from them into the mug.
In a blender, combine the tea, peaches, orange juice, agave syrup, and lime juice. Blend until smooth, then divide among 8 (3-ounce) popsicle molds. Freeze for 1 hour, insert popsicle sticks into the center of each, and freeze until firm, approximately 3 hours longer.
