This modern take on Italy’s traditional aperitif, the Aperol Spritz—a mix of Campari-like aperol, sparkling wine, and soda water—is kicked up a notch with gin and a generous splash of St. Germain elderflower liqueur. Still, the low alcohol content of the aperol and St. Germain make this warm-weather favorite safe for afternoon sipping. Even if you don’t like cocktails with gin The Sofia will inspire you to happily raise a glass.
